Implant E·M

UX/UI is designed to find technological and accessibility solutions for all users. But… What about chronically ill users, could we use the “Design Thinking” methodology and find a solution for them? Check out this UX project about an innovative and awesome technology that goes beyond the Impossible to check-mate Multiple Sclerosis.With all of this in mind, we have developed Implant-EM, a wearable internal device that alerts the patient in case an SM flare-up occurs. Implant-EM combines two existing technologies: a cochlear implant that connects to auditory nerves, enabling hearing for the deaf, known for its effectiveness and convenience, and the QTUG, a leg-mounted device with sensors to predict multiple sclerosis flare-ups.
